Conversation with an American man on June 2nd

(from Sarah, 6d)

Today we did our English lesson with an American man , his name is Luke. He was our visitor for the lesson and our class asked him lots of questions. He said we can ask him all of our questions and we did that .

Luke came to Germany, because he helps people who have problems to speak English. One question was : What is your favourite fast food ? His answer was “FiveGuys”. We asked him lots of these questions. First he lived in Idaho but now he lives in California . He told us that his friends have guns, and I think America is more dangerous than Germany, because in America the people have guns and they have dangerous animals like grizzly bears. He also told us when you see a grizzly bear you should put your hands over your head and lie flat on the ground. Also when there is an earthquake, it is the best to lie under the table because the real danger in an earthquake is the objects that can fall down. He told us many more interesting things.

The lesson was really nice and funny. He talked a lot and answered all our questions. It was a special lesson and it was fun to learn more about America I definitely want to go to America now.

Thank you, Sarah!
